[edit] Adding Images

[edit] Story

Paul the Programmer finally got back to you and was impressed, but being the true geek he is, he wants more! He wants the uploaded image to be 200x200 pixels on the geek's page and 50x50 on the right side bar that explodes in someones face. BOOM!

[edit] Goal

  • Work with image uploading
  • Automatically-derived images
  • LightBox Integration

[edit] Instructions

  1. Install and enable the ImageCache module and any of its dependencies
  2. Create two ImageCache presets: 200×200 (for main image), and 50×50 (forthumbnails)
  3. Use “display fields” on the content type to adjust the full-node display, and include the 200×200 image
  4. Adjust the recent-content sidebar block to include a 50×50 thumbnail. For now do nothing when the user clicks on the thumbnail
  5. Install and enable the Light box module (lightbox2)
  6. Use the Lightbox module in the views to have a 200x200 explode in the user's face when they click on the 50x50 thumbnail.
